If you have a conflict with your TN Promise Meeting date and/or time, you are required to submit an Virtual TN Promise Meeting request form through tnAchieves.

Please see below for step-by-step instructions on how to complete the request form process:

1. Review our request form policy for a list of approved reasons to submit a request form. Your reason must fall within the categories outlined in our policy to be approved to receive the Virtual TN Promise Webinar. If your reason does not fall within the outlined categories, you should make arrangements to attend your meeting.

2. You are responsible for completing the Virtual TN Promise Meeting request form through tnAchieves. Failure to meet this requirement, even with a valid reason, may result in the loss of your TN Promise eligibility.

3. After submitting the request form, you will receive follow-up communication from tnAchieves via email. This communication will outline your next steps to meet this requirement.

   • If your request form is approved, you will be required to view our Virtual TN Promise Webinar. This webinar will be sent to you via email. The deadline to complete this requirement is March 16, 2026.

If a school district closes for any reason, tnAchieves will reschedule any meeting within that school district to a later date. Should this occur, tnAchieves will notify all affected parties! Students will be expected to attend the rescheduled meeting date.

Students are assigned to a TN Promise Meeting based on the high school listed on the TN Promise application.

If you attend a public high school (as determined by our system), you will be required to attend an in-person meeting at your high school. The meeting will last 30-minutes and will take place during school hours.

If you attend a non-public school (as determined by our records), you are required to attend a Virtual TN Promise Meeting. This meeting will last 30-minutes and will take place on Zoom.
