What Is Working, and What Is at Stake
We know this work is making a difference. We also know its future is not guaranteed.
COMPLETE
Much of the recent progress is tied to the statewide implementation of COMPLETE, our model that surrounds students with support from enrollment through graduation.
- 01Proactive coaching
- 02Emergency financial support
- 03Consistent encouragement
One Year
After the 2026-27 fiscal year, COMPLETE has only one year of funding remaining. Just as Tennessee is seeing meaningful movement in college completion, the support helping drive that progress is approaching a funding cliff. That creates urgency, but it also creates opportunity.

Built With Communities Across Tennessee
60 by 2030 grew directly from the 2026 Prosperity Tour, when tnAchieves met with community leaders in all 67 counties we serve. Local leaders affirmed that programs like COMPLETE are making an impact and that there is more work to do.
Reaching 60% will help significantly more students earn the degrees and credentials that lead to meaningful careers, stronger communities and a stronger workforce. tnAchieves cannot do it alone.
