Record Progress and the Reach to 60%

It is ambitious, but we know what is possible. In just two years, our graduation rate has increased eight percentage points, thanks in large part to COMPLETE, our proactive coaching and emergency financial support program.

Each point is the share of an entering class that graduated within three years. Results for the classes of 2023 to 2025 are still to come. The class of 2026 will be measured in 2030. Source: National Student Clearinghouse.

Protecting What Is Working

COMPLETE

Much of the recent progress is tied to the statewide implementation of COMPLETE, our proactive coaching and emergency financial support program that stays with students from enrollment through graduation.

  1. 01Proactive coaching
  2. 02Emergency financial support
  3. 03Consistent encouragement

But just as we are seeing incredible progress, funding for COMPLETE is coming to an end. We have come too far to lose this momentum.

A Public-Private Partnership

For nearly two decades, tnAchieves has operated as a public-private partnership, and that partnership has helped us achieve remarkable results. Today, we need that same commitment to protect the progress we have made and reach even more students.

Over the past several months

The 2026 Prosperity Tour

tnAchieves traveled to all 67 counties we serve, listening to the people and communities who care deeply about Tennessee's students and our state's future workforce. One message was clear: helping students get to college is important, but helping them graduate and build meaningful careers is what creates lasting economic prosperity.
